This involves developing questions and areas often overlooked, marginalised or taken for granted in the discipline, as well as problematising IR research practices, professional identities and modes of relating. There is also a CIEE Work & Travel USA community on Facebook where students can connect and share their journey. We offer tips on living in America, reminders about regulations, and great information on how to make the most of their American experience. The IRSS group is an invitation to question the way we think and we do IR, be it from a theoretical, epistemological, ontological, methodological or practical perspective. CIEE remains in touch with all of the CIEE Work & Travel USA students throughout the program.
